With great joy and hope, on March 29, 2025, in Kraków, we launched our most important project yet – “Meters of Happiness.” This initiative is dedicated to the construction of a brand-new Rehabilitation Center for the beneficiaries of the Help Furaha Foundation – children with cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome. Below is a slide summarizing in a nutshell the actions we have taken so far, all aimed at building this new Center.

The goal of the “Meters of Happiness” project is to invite you – our cherished Donors and Sponsors – to take part in funding the rooms of this modern Rehabilitation Center. Each square meter costs 2000 PLN. We warmly encourage entrepreneurs, corporations, communities, groups of friends, families, individuals – everyone with a generous heart – to join the project and help bring this noble dream to life. We have no doubt that, with the help of compassionate people like you, this special Monument of Happiness – Furaha – will be built. And it will exist for children from all over the world with cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome.

Zbyszek, Bogusia and Andrzej were cycling in 30-degree heat the distance from Nairobi to the equator and to Meru – 250 km !!! In Meru there was no end of congratulations, joy and happiness !!! It was very unique and fantastic time together, with great people and delicious cake  

It is magic and amazing how the idea of Zbyszek – ACTION “Cycling to the equator” – with the great support of the Patrons – quickly became a reality. Both motivation and determiantion of our Polish and Kenyan cyclists deserve for respect and admiration :))

Now it is time to relax, well-deserved rest, relaxation, regeneration, getting to know our daily activity, tasting African cuisine etc.

We look forward to seeing you in Poland soon our wonderful and brave Friends / ASANTE, UBUNTU !!!

And finally the day of unusual bike trip has come “Around the Tatra Mountains” with “80 Bikes” Team … Wonderful views, beautiful weather, good moods, descents, ramps, fast speed, mobilization and courage and all in the company of Help Furaha foundation

The whole route was 210 km of happiness ! That is why the bicycle team made bank transfer to us of 210 PLN –  thank you a lot and we wish you many future unique adventures on two wheels !

Zbyszek Ciszek and Ryszard Sawa will start their bike trip very soon –  cycling gives so much happiness !

This book is inspired by our will to help the Help Furaha Foundation.

The book is the bridge between Europe and Africa. It is an introduction to the intercultural education.

The stories in this book are educational and therapeutic. They take place in Europe and in Africa.

The fairy-tale and magical link between them is Furaha Goat. It helps the characters in the stories fight their fears. It teaches them how to live in the society and warns them against danger.

It encourages the children to change their habitual strategies into more effective ones due to the social groups they live in and life problems they have to face. The Furaha Goat always gives them hope to solve their problems.

The book is accompanied with the tasks, which can be done by the children. The activities can be led by adults (teachers, therapists, parents…). Adults can use the stories to talk with children and initiate the creativity in their children. We should remember that they are only the ideas, which can be modified freely. They can be improved, developed and enriched.

“Goat for Family in Kenya” Project – honorary patronage over the project taken by the Community of Kozy in Poland.

Not only does the Furaha Centre want to help the kids, but also their families improve their living conditions Together with our donors and partners we would like to start the pilot project called “Goats for Families in Kenya”.

On the 15th March 2019, Marek Krakus, the chairman of the Help Furaha Foundation, supported by Jarosław Rozmus – the Chairman of the EkaMedica Company and Piotr Pacyga – Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the DuoLife Company visited Jacek Kaliński – the Head of the Community of Kozy in Poland.

And ….. we did it!!!

On the 11th April 2019 we got the official confirmation that the Community of Kozy is going to take the patronage over our project – wonderful news.

We truly believe that not only does the idea promote the Community of Kozy in Poland, but also in the world.

First, we want to find 20 families in need and give them one goat. Every family, after the first goat kid is born, gives it to the next family in need. When the billy kid is born, it is given to the farm run by the Furaha Centre.

All the other goat kids born belong to the family.

A goat in Kenya is a very useful animal: it gives milk, which can be sold or given to the children. The family can have at least two goats on their farm in one year and it makes a great help.

Project agenda:

4. Preparing the farm – about 100USD x 20=2,000USD
5. Buying 20 goats – about 3,000USD (good breed goats)
6. Monitoring the Project by the special council and the representative of the Furaha Centre
7. Monthly project report
8. After a year: evaluation and buying the next goats.

Patronat Gminy Kozy dla akcji “Koza dla Rodziny w Kenii” [PDF]

Dear Friends, we have finished the first edition of our „Goat for Family” project. it has been very successful.

Our children’s families received the goats. Over 40 goats were given to the families. Now we are going to analyze and observe how they take care of these animals in order to start the second edition of the project. We are very grateful to all the people who helped us accomplish our project.

It is a big challenge for us. However, with your support and help we will be able to make their life better.

For the last few months we have been looking for the land to build a new Centre for children with cerebral palsy and autism. And we have it !!! On the 31st of December 2020 officially we have completed the project “Buy The Land” and thanks to big hearts and great support of our Donors we finally bought the land It is located 19 km from Meru, close to the border of 2 counties: Meru and Isiolo, so we will be able to help more children and it has a single, huge and pretty tree – African Acacia – exactly the same as we do have in the Foundation’s  logo – it has to be a destiny…

The area of 2.0 ha will let us implement our plans of building a modern Rehabilitation Centre for the children with cerebral palsy and autism. We would like to help as many children as possible, not only from Meru and Kenya but also around the world, because this is international project. Our dream is to build also a hotel where we can host parents and children for long rehabilitation camps. The rest of the land will be used to implement other projects such as: agriculture, planting vegetables and fruit, hen and rabbit farms etc. 2 of 3 projects have already been ended with success  – now we would like to realize the most important mission – to build the new Rehabilitation Centre – that is why we have started our new project ” ‘BUY A BRICK – Let’s build a Rehabilitation Center in Kenya together’
