Zbyszek, Bogusia and Andrzej were cycling in 30-degree heat the distance from Nairobi to the equator and to Meru – 250 km !!! In Meru there was no end of congratulations, joy and happiness !!! It was very unique and fantastic time together, with great people and delicious cake 🙂 

It is magic and amazing how the idea of Zbyszek – ACTION “Cycling to the equator” – with the great support of the Patrons – quickly became a reality. Both motivation and determiantion of our Polish and Kenyan cyclists deserve for respect and admiration :))

Now it is time to relax, well-deserved rest, relaxation, regeneration, getting to know our daily activity, tasting African cuisine etc.

We look forward to seeing you in Poland soon our wonderful and brave Friends / ASANTE, UBUNTU !!!

On the 13th of December 2019 we had initiated the new, very important Project “BUY THE LAND”. We believe that like other projects even this one will be finalized with the great success. To buy the land for the construction of the new Rehabilitation Centre we need about 40 000 USD. We appeal for help to all our Friends and Benefactors. Together we can make it.

If you pay min. 100 PLN (25 Euro) you will receive a limited bag with original Kenyan ground from the land that we are going to buy and certificate as a symbol of being the founder of this project 🙂

Project completed – thank you to all donors 🙂

In January 2018 we started the project called „Therapy on wheels – moving therapy project“ by going to Mikinduri, 30 kilometres from Meru. The aim of this project is to help as many children who cannot come to our centre as possible. Travelling through the vastness of Kenya, we want to reach as many disabled children as possible creating the „Oases of Happiness“ in the savannah. That is why, we need
a reliable car. See what car we are going to buy.
The Furaha Centre Team would like reach the areas far from the town. However, the conditions on the roads in Kenya are very poor. In
the future we would like to reach the places in the savannah where
the situation in the wet season is bad. We do not want to be stopped by malicious weather, wet seasons or any other ideas of Kenyan weather.

Many people and activities support this project. Now, we have starter the action called „Car4Care – we are gathering kilometers”. You can read more about this action here:

For the last few months we have been looking for the land to build a new Centre for children with cerebral palsy and autism. And we have it !!! On the 31st of December 2020 officially we have completed the project “Buy The Land” and thanks to big hearts and great support of our Donors we finally bought the land 🙂 It is located 19 km from Meru, close to the border of 2 counties: Meru and Isiolo, so we will be able to help more children and it has a single, huge and pretty tree – African Acacia – exactly the same as we do have in the Foundation’s  logo – it has to be a destiny… 🙂

The area of 2.0 ha will let us implement our plans of building a modern Rehabilitation Centre for the children with cerebral palsy and autism. We would like to help as many children as possible, not only from Meru and Kenya but also around the world, because this is international project. Our dream is to build also a hotel where we can host parents and children for long rehabilitation camps. The rest of the land will be used to implement other projects such as: agriculture, planting vegetables and fruit, hen and rabbit farms etc. 2 of 3 projects have already been ended with success  – now we would like to realize the most important mission – to build the new Rehabilitation Centre – that is why we have started our new project ” ‘BUY A BRICK – Let’s build a Rehabilitation Center in Kenya together’ 😀
