After the great success of previous projects led by our amazing Coordinator Zbigniew Ciszek – such as “Cycling for Happiness” (raising funds to buy land for a Rehabilitation Center) and “Cycling to the Equator” (building a well and water reservoir) – it’s time for a new charitable initiative: “Beyond the Equator for Furaha”

Fundraising Goal:
We are collecting funds to build a modern Rehabilitation Center in Kenya for our beneficiaries – children with cerebral palsy and autism.
For every kilometer you cycle, you contribute a symbolic 1 PLN brick, so if you pledge to ride 10 kilometers, your donation to Help Furaha will be at least 10 PLN.

The Help Furaha Foundation took part in a wonderful event of our strategic partner – DuoLife SA – LDS in Krakow from 28-30.03.2025, where the “Happiness in Meters” Project for the newly established Furaha Center was inaugurated. This project was met with great interest by participants and leaders of our Partner DuoLife S.A., which makes us very happy

Many of them, together with the communities they create, have declared to finance several rooms, and some have already paid the entire declared amount to our Foundation’s account. Each m2 is only PLN 2,000. We encourage entrepreneurs, corporations, communities and individuals to join us and make our dream come true. We have no doubt that with the participation of people with incredibly empathetic hearts, this unique Monument of Happiness, or Furaha, will be created – for children with cerebral palsy, autism, Down Syndrome from all over the world.

Artykuł Help Furaha at an exceptional LDS event in Cracow! pochodzi z serwisu Help Furaha.

Today in Laisamis – Marsabit County, we held the second training session for 40 healthcare workers, volunteers and government administration on cerebral palsy and autistic spectrum. In this second module, participants learned about the methods of a home program for children with disabilities in local conditions, i.e. in maniats (traditional houses of the Rendile, Turkana and Samburu tribes). The training ended with the presentation of commemorative certificates of course completion. Another initiative of the Furaha Center was possible thanks to the support and funding of Polish Aid – many thanks.

The next stage of the project in Marsabit County was a great way to kick off 2025.

We plan to open a new centre ‘Oases of Happiness’ in Merile, Lontolio and Korr. We really hope that this will be possible thanks to the support of our donors and friends.

It is also worth reminding ourselves that we already have two Oases of Happiness in Marsabit County: in Laisamis and Loglogo.

We have been waiting for this special moment for several years… June 15, 2024 will be remembered forever in the history of our Foundation. It was on this day that the construction of the Monument of Happiness in Ruiri Rwarera officially began. In the presence of Mr. Paweł Pijanowski, representing the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, Parliamentarian Hon. Rindikiri Mugambi – MP of Buuri, Meru County Administrative Authority, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit Rev. Peter Kihara, Donors and Friends of Furaha and our beloved students, this historic moment of “digging the first hole” took place.

There was so much emotion, tears of happiness and hope for the creation of a unique Rehabilitation Center in East Africa for children with cerebral palsy and autism in Kenya.

On March 26-29, 2024, the free Furaha Dental Medical Camp took place in Laisamis, Kenya, which was held for the second time. From the very early hours of the morning, dozens of people were waiting at the gate of the mission hospital for our wonderful Volunteers – dentists from Italy. Tommaso, Angelo and Marco provided their professional service and medical support to the local population, who gathered in large numbers at the hospital gate, often travelling hundreds of kilometres to make a dental visit. During these three days, approximately 200 people received medical help! A great initiative to help people in need – we are planning another edition, perhaps this year

We would like to thank the dentists and their selfless help in Kenya for this gift of their heart.

The noble WALRUSES FOR AFRICA campaign is being organized for the third time and certainly not the last.

Everyone can take part in our Campaign, without exception. So we invite all the walruses in the world to join us.

We encourage all sea swimmers to join our campaign to help those who cannot swim because of the African weather and their health. Swimming releases endorphins and makes swimmers happy. Let’s share this happiness with Extraordinary Children from the Furaha Center.

To join the campaign, all you need to do is:

1. Swim or support those swimming – alone or with a group
2. Top up the collection with any donation (or the amount collected with your group)

Artykuł Happening: “Walruses for Africa” – 3rd EDITION :) pochodzi z serwisu Help Furaha.

A REAL POWER PUNCH! EXPEDITION TO KILIMANJARO 2023 IT’S TIME TO START!

Only a few days (July 10, 2023) separate us from the beginning of the expedition of four of our wonderful friends of Furah: Krzysztof Drabik, Maggy Ankowska, Krzysztof Drobna, Paweł Kalbarczyk, who will climb the Roof of Africa -> Kilimanjaro. The originator of the project – Krzysztof Drabik – also wants to do something that no one else has done yet ->  he wants to walk the entire route juggling bottles. They will have to cover about 50 km, with an elevation gain of over 4,000 meters. The collected funds, supporting this unique expedition, will help start the construction of the Rehabilitation Center in Kenya, which is our great dream. After all, every child has the right to a dignified life, food, fun, joy, and therapeutic help. Especially children with cerebral palsy, and on the autism spectrum, Down syndrome and other neurological diseases. We want to be pioneers in this extraordinary fight against stigma and discrimination.

13 May 2022  – II International Furaha Day has taken place…. And it was simply amazing!

It is a special joyful festival for all friends, donors and supporters of the Help Furaha Foundation who strongly support the Kenya Rehabilitation Center on a daily basis.

At 1 p.m. we connected with Furaszki from all over the world, at 1:13 pm, a special event was broadcast from the marina in Giżycko; the Baptism of a yacht called “Furaha”, owned by one of our Furashki, a participant of the Cycling for Water Action – ‘By bike to the Equator in Kenya’ – Andrzej Strzadała. Bogusia Skupin, who also participated in the above mentioned Kenyan expedition, became the godmother of the “Furaha” yacht.

Thank you very much for your participation in this great event for Furaha, which was held for the second time.

Moreover, we also connected directly to the Furaha Center in Kenya, the Help Furaha Foundation in Italy and the UK, wonderful!

Let us do good things together from heart to heart…. UBUNTU!
