Last weekend once again we were the part of the event of our main contributor and oartner – the DuoLife Company. This time in one of the most prestigious places in Poland – Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

It was a wonderful feeling to be able to talk about Foundation and to meet so many friendly people.

Dear Friends, in this post we would like to show you how one of our international coordinators helps to collect money for our Foundation – when you buy some products in his shop – the money goes to our Help Furaha Foundation.

“I learnt about the Help Furaha Foundation through Mariusz Kamiński’s project: https://anakena.org/en/to-the-beat-of-happiness-13th-week-summing-up/

I decided to do something more to make the Foundation more recognizable in the world which can bring more people to our Foundation. 

I am the Father of the Wonderful Three and I know that their health and development is important. 

That is why I came up with an idea of engaging the Polish people in the Netherlands to share their Furaha with others. 

At present we have a Foundation roll-up and the leaflets. You can find them in our shop in Bergen op Zoom. I have also bought the mugs with the Foundation logo. You can buy them in our shop and support the Foundation.

We would like to present to you a very unique young person: Patrycja. This young lady found the way to help others despite financial obsticles. She has given her Furaha hand-painted pictures to our Foundation. All the money gathered this way will be donated to the activity of our Foundation.

I think Patrycja herself can say something about what has inspired her:

“I started painting my pictures during the anniversary webinar led by Marek Krakus and Piotr Pacyga. I was listening to them thinking what I could do to support the Foundation despite my financial obsticles. I had small pieces of wood on my desk and I decided to use them.

During this webinar I painted 2 small pictures. I was not thinking about what I wanted to paint. The only thing I knew was that they need to be Africa-inspired. 

Painting 4 big pictures was inspired by the film in which Marek Krakus is telling about the Foundation and Krzysztof Drabik’s juggling 

His achievement was incredible for me and many other people. He did something wonderful. He used his passion – juggling. He was doing what he is good at in order to help the children with cerebral palsy – the same children as my twin brothers.

I decided to use my passion, something I am the best at and I painted the next pictures. I told myself that I neede to find another way to help despite my lack of money. 

As a scondary school student I find it difficult to work full time or even part time. I am an art school student, I am preparing for my final exams and sometimes my lessons finish at late as 5p.m.

However, it was my dream to help the children and support the Foundation which helps the children with cerebral palsy – the illness which is so familiar to me and my family. 

I promised myself once (May 2014), after my beloved Friend had passed away, that I would do my best to support other people and help those in need.

I love children and I am very sensitive to their pain and sorrow, as they did not do anything wrong. I want to support the Foundation with my art. ”

THE GREAT HEART OF THOSE WHO HAVE THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN IN THE HEART

We want to give a special thanks to a company that has in its heart the future of young people and children like that of our exceptional children from the Furaha Center Meru.

The cooperartion between our friends – the Community of Kozy and the Meru County is heating up.

On the 11.12.2019 the letter from the Governor of the Meru County was delivered to the Head of the Community of Kozy.

The wonderful project has just begun – the first brain storming behind us – we look forward to the results of this cooperation.

Wednesday, 20th November 2019 was a very exciting day @William Holden & Mt.Kenya animal orphanage.

The children had great moments with staff and their siblings.
It’s the first time for the children to go out as a group.
